Our planet needs a clean environment now and for the future.Many people are unaware of the state our planet is turning into. The harm is not caused by some aliens as they depict in movies like mars attack but by us people. Global warming is a major issue now and many people are still not aware of it. Global warming is caused by green house gases which creates holes in the ozone layer which results in an overall rise in temperature.This rise in temperature causes the glaciers to melt at the poles which increases the sea level.
So what will be the effects of global warming ???
THE GATE WAY OF INDIA WILL BE UNDER WATER BY 2100
IN CHENNAI ALONE THERE WILL BE 10 MILLION PEOPLE WHO WILL BE DISPLACED
IF THE SEA LEVEL CONTINUES TO RISE AT THE SAME RATE THEN AN UMPTEEN NUMBER OF PEOPLE WILL BE ‘CLIMATE REFUGEES’
THERE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE BY AT LEAST 3 DEGREES
CROPS WILL BE DESTROYED AND PEOPLE WILL STARVE TO DEATH
and much more… 😦
What can u do?
USE PUBLIC MODES OF TRANSPORT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
REDUCE THE USE OF FOSSIL FUEL
CHOOSE ALTERNATIVE ENERGY LIKE SOLAR,WIND ETC.,
REDUCE THE USE OF PAPER. USE BOTH SIDES OF PAPER.
USE ENERGY SAVING LAMPS AT HOME
TRY TO REDUCE CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSION (67% of tamil nadu’s electricity comes from coal)
AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL “SPREAD THE AWARENESS”

SP…the future director has come out with his short movie with a strong message. Needless to mention the efforts he has put in the making of this short movie and ..the output?? no one would believe that it has been directed by a rookie! ya its true..just watch the clipping and you would come to know..watch it carefully!
did u get the message? ya..think about it. In this land where even our basic need like water has been commercialized. COKE is sucking up so much of water in the river thamirabarani which has made the poor farmers to sell their lands and move to cities. This short movie shows how those kind of people are affected. Do note the coke banner in the final part of the movie when the old man falls down..Sure it is a good cinematography.. hats off to the director…. 🙂
